Elements Collective are back at QPAC for another Breaking showdown! This October, witness some of Australia’s best Breakers and All-Style dancers compete in a 2-V-2 battle, Bonnie & Clyde edition. Like the infamous outlaws, each crew is made up of a male and female duo, battling in either the Breaking or All style category. Featuring a DJ, MC, and a panel of renowned judges, Hip Hop culture will come to life again at QPAC in another Cremorne Theatre takeover. Don’t miss out on an opportunity to experience an afternoon of intense head-to-head competition between some of the most talented dancers in Brisbane.

Bgirl Mags, She started B-girling back in 2005 on the streets of her hometown, Antofagasta, Chile. Her style is shaped by the strong HipHop culture across the Americas, along with influences from theater, circus arts, and Latin rhythms. Over the years, Mags has made her mark by competing, judging, and teaching all over the world, earning recognition in South America, Mexico, Australia, and beyond.
Mags is a self-educated professional dancer who imparts her knowledge to communities, particularly focusing on high-risk youth in Chile. She founded "UN BREAK EN TU BARRIO" in Chile, a Breaking and HipHop cultural festival in vulnerable neighbours to bring them opportunities of expression, education and socialisation through HipHop elements. Currently in Australia is one of the directors of "Golden Flow Jam" in Gold coast, promoting HipHop culture and community development.
In 2023, Mags won the Red Bull BC One Australian Cypher and represented Australia in the World Final in Paris. She is part of the esteemed Australian Crew Team Cream. Beyond dance, Mags is an accomplished filmmaker, earning acclaim for her Bgirl documentary at 2023 Destructive Steps Street Dance Film Festival in Sydney.
Her dedication to dance, education, and cultural impact has driven her to now being part of the Elements Collective team, underscoring her commitment to using HipHop to transform societies. She now serves as the associate producer and community liaison of Elements Collective, where she is planting her seed to help improve the Australian Breaking community in Queensland (QLD) as part of the team.

Up Rock / Rocking Masterclass with B-Girl Rachillit
Elements Collective presents B-Girl Rachillit, a maestro of the Up Rock scene, representing Rock to the Future, Future Age Rockers and Forever we Rock. Spending her time in Japan for the past 4 years Rachillit has connected with the community along side Babylon (Japan), Aya (Taiwan), Rob Nasty, Justrocizm, Paboluv and much more.
Workshop Overview:
Explore techniques of Up Rock, also known as Rocking, Rock Dance, or Brooklyn Rock. The dance is an expression of identity, forged in the heart of urban landscapes and set to the gritty rhythms of soul, rock, and funk music.
What You'll Learn:
Foundational Movements: Master the core elements of Up Rock, from foot shuffles to spins, turns, and the distinctive four-point body movement known as the "jerk."
Musicality:
Discover how to channel the energy of classic tracks like the funk anthem "It's Just Begun" by Jimmy Castor, syncing your movements with the hard-driving beats that define this genre.

Save the dates - January 12th - 14th 2024! This important public event held over three days on the Gold Coast will feature 3x Internationally renowned guest teachers B-boy Roxrite (USA), B-boy Amir (KAZ) & B-girl Kastet (EU), workshops, youth program and a battle events.
The IBB will offer opportunities for dancers to learn from leading experts, connect with industry leaders and gain tools for ongoing skill development and professional work. It also invites the broader international and national dance community to Queensland’s beautiful Gold Coast for the three-day event.
